The CIRC/CTF Coordinated Research and
Technical Assistance Consortium is a unique and exciting partnership between the Civitan
International Research Center at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the
Childrens Trust Fund of Alabama. This partnership is designed to combine the talents
and resources of the Civitan Center and the Childrens Trust Fund so that
comprehensive, up-to-date information can be gathered, synthesized, and available to the
programs and communities with which the Childrens Trust Fund is connected. Through
this partnership, numerous documents and products have been developed to serve as resource
material for program staff. Additionally, research efforts are currently underway to
gather information about eight Welfare-to-Work programs funded by the Childrens
Trust Fund through a grant from Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs
(ADECA). Information about these documents and the research efforts are available on this
webpage.
