• UAB Civitan International Research Center - Center within a center concept offers full life spectrum approach to all phases of research related to children, families, and individuals with a special focus on research related to developmental disabilities and mental retardation.
• The Alabama Department of Human Resources.
• Alabama Early Intervention System (AEIS): This website includes information about services available for eligible infants and toddlers and their families, components of the service delivery system, and personnel development opportunitites. AEIS is a statewide, coordinated system of community services for eligible infants and toddlers with disabilities and their families that operates under the lead agency, the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services.

• Child Health USA- Child Health USA is the Health Resources and Services Administration's annual report on the health status and service needs of America's children. The 80-page book is available in the Adobe Acrobat  format by clicking the link above. It is a compilation of secondary data for 55 health status indicators, and provides both graphical and textual summaries of data and addresses long-term trends.
