1996 ABMG Examinations

The next cycle of examinations offered by the American Board of Medical Genetics will be June 26-27, 1996. The Bulletin of Information and application forms are available from the administrative office. The deadline for receipt of applications was December 31, 1995. For information contact the American Board of Medical Genetics administrative office.

Changes in requirements include the following:

All first-time applicants must submit 150 cases per specialty. If you desire to sit for two examinations, you must submit 150 for each specialty, for a total of 300 cases.
Canadian-trained individuals can apply for eligibility in the areas of Clinical Genetics, PhD Medical Genetics, Clinical Biochemical Genetics, Clinical Cytogenetics, and Clinical Molecular Genetics.
